Daffodil Day- GK executive team will be raising money for Daffodil Day on the 21st (Thursday Week 5) and the 22nd (Friday Week 5) of this month by selling Daffodil Day merchandise. This year we will be selling around Manning and also the RPA on both days. Last year we managed to raise over $8000 for the NSW cancer council by selling only around RPA.

This year we'll be aiming to beat that amount with your help so if you are interested in raising money for those poor kids with cancer, we would be delighted to have you on board as a volunteer. Even if you only have 2-3 hours off during either day, register your interest with Alison at <aeag3223 AT usyd.edu.au>. The email should be titled "Daffodil Day Volunteer" and NEEDS to include your full name, email, and contact number as we need to register you as a volunteer with the NSW Cancer Council.

For those who are busy studying for good marks to get that dream job of yours, looking at this event from an employability perspective, employers look at those who voluntarily donate their time to help others in a very positive light. So please register, its for a great cause, and you'll also have a lot of fun meeting us execs and other GK

Ian Thorpe's Foundation for Youth Cake Stall/BBQ

Ian Thorpe's Fountain for youth (FFY) is a non-profit charity that
aims to raise money in order to help alleviate and treat illness and
disease in children under the age of 20.

The GK exec will be holding a Cake stall/BBQ during week 6 uni at
Manning. BBQ hot dogs will be priced at around $3 and cakes will be
priced at around $2.50. So drop by for a chat and a cheap lunch. Bring your friends too!
